We The People. We are Black History. We are answered prayers. We are the footsteps that went left and right from the crossroads. We are victories and defeats. We are success and failure. Above all else, we are progress and we are here to stay.
For the 28 days of Black History Month, celebrate our history. I encourage you to learn something new and amazing about African Americans in this nation. Dig for the truth and know that it may be ugly. The strength of African Americans in the United States is not just touching on our history here for a month, but to learn, understand and embrace the truth of our history here for a lifetime. #BHM
