That being said…

I am no fan of mediocrity. Unfortunately too many people are fans of mediocre leaders, athletes, celebrities and random people on social media who do something to capture our attention for the moment. I honestly do not clap for the brief flashes of wisdom that people spew onto the masses. I clap for track records of brilliance and good character. I applaud honest leadership and quality management. I give standing ovations for authenticity. I clap for what I see in others that either reminds me of myself or challenges me to be a better version of myself… That being said… I’ll clap when I’m impressed.
